PC Game Review: Tokyo Hosto (2013)

Tokyo Hosto is a comedic visual novel where you get to play as a young attractive male named Jayson Traysh. Jason didn't do well in school, he is very lazy, not very skilled at most things, and his parents are pressuring him into getting a job. The only thing that Jayson is any good at is hitting on girls, so he decides to get a job at a host bar to where his skills will come in handy. Jayson ends up working at a host club where his boss, "Homo" Toby Lau (Homo doesn't mean what you think it does in this case), decides to put Jayson through some very tough trails to try to turn him into his number one host and make good ol' "Homo" Lau some money. PC Game Review: Mobile Light Force (1994, 2003, 2015)

Mobile Light Force is a vertical shoot 'em up (AKA shmup) and is also an Americanized port of the Japanese arcade game, Gunbird (1994). This game is about a group of heroes that must stop an evil gang from obtaining all the pieces of a magical mirror that will grant the evil gang any wish they desire.  Our heroes will put a stop to the the gang by collecting all of the pieces before they do. Our gang of heroes includes: Marion, a blond haired witch that flies on a broomstick.  Jason Last, a very flashy looking guy that uses a jetpack to get around. MILF 2000, a giant robot that has a very interesting name.  John Suarez, a muscular old man that flies an aircraft that's powered by bike pedals. Lastly, we have a mystical cloud riding woman named Yuan-Nang. Can this rag tag group save the world? (Click on "Read More" to read the full review).

PC Game Review: Disillusions Manga Horror (2013)

"Disillusions Manga Horror" is a horror adventure PC game that has you playing as a guy with white hair and a striped top, he is named Dis.  Dis got a message from his friend saying to meet him in a house where a supposed serial killer used to live.  Dis' friend also wants so to go exploring to see if they can find anything good.  Dis takes a trip to the house and notices how spooky it is and thus it is your goal to look around the house to find your friend.  Later in the game you are introduced to a female police officer named Sui who looks a little bit like a stripper cop (not saying that's a bad thing).  Sui is on duty and is looking around a spooky site that just happened to be a place where a guy went crazy, killed a bunch of people, and blew up stuff.  Sui also happens to notice that she is not alone and thus she has to search around to find the mysterious person before the mysterious person finds her.  Could both Dis and Sui's stories be linked?  (Click "Read More" to read the full review).

Gaming Beast Reviews Lionheart

The Gaming Beast reviews the awesome PC RPG called "Lionheart - Legacy of the Crusader" from Black Isle studios. Its got a very unique setting, interesting story and a cool character progression system.

Steam Game Review: Wrack (2014)

"Wrack" is an action packed science fiction themed first person shooting game for the PC.  This game is set in the future where the world is at peace and science has reached it's peak and is at an golden era.  Sadly not everybody is sure that the peace will last as a girl named Starlyn believes that the Earth shouldn't let it's guard down due to peace as they are left open to an attack.  Kain (Starlyn's father and main character of the game) disagrees with her and tells her not to worry but Starlyn would soon be proven right as planet Earth becomes under attack.  Who'd attack Earth at a time like this you say?  Evil lizard men with guns and giant robots that is.  It's not a simple case of crazy invasion for the sake of having a crazy invasion as there is a mastermind behind this attack and that mastermind is an evil cyborg doctor named EXO.  The reasons for EXO's attack is very unclear but rest assure Kain will put a stop to him by kicking ass with a powerful sword that is powered by inner-strength...  And a shotgun full of lead.  It's a warm classic styled FPS in this cold militaristic modern FPS world.  (Click "Read More" to read the full review).
