Alex, Kaiser, and Critical Failure talk about their Steam Roulette selections, CF's modern setup for computer dungeon crawlers, and the critically acclaimed, Kaiser Report (pulsen, axis bowl, and more)

Ending song: NONE! I didn't bother looking up royalty free or creative common music.

  1. This episode of was so good, I've actually listened to it twice while farming for souls in Dark Souls II! I agree with most points from most of the the contributors, so I'll just touch on CF's comment about sticking with a handful of games at once. That is actually a really great plan and would not only keep you on track but help you to "stop and smell the roses" with a certain game.

I'd also be down with a TNR Forum, since Facebook and Twitter are both lame, gay, and retarded. But it would be nice to bullshit with the group.

    1. Half the battle in recording podcasts is to make them of a high enough quality to please DeathAdder. Glad you enjoyed.

  3. I think Neo Scavanger is the definition of artificial difficulty. It is hard because of how you start, and how the game fucks you over the placement of enemies a the beginning. I died so often hypothermia, because I could not find clothing in the ruins, sigh. Swingle knows what I am talking about ("#Grassskirt").

I loved the idea of playing Wizardry with the rasberry pie and the CR TV. I really want to try Wizardry 6 again.

Sticking with a few games is a good way of getting anywhere with them. I usually try to stick to one game per genre at most.

I hated that you could not use custom pics in zafehouse if you were gunning for achievments. Really stupid decision. The pics dont change anything and dont make the game any easier. Need to play Deadnaught more. The same studio came out with another game like that where you are in a train. I really like his games so far.

Great podcasting guys, Ill be there next time!
