Ahh, hearing about the Monster Cast brings me back warm nostalgic memories. From getting my brother to trick you by making him pretend to be me, Jerry's story about BBQed babies, and those Alaskan guys being tools. Good times they were. You considered making a second one? I know that sounds like a lot of hard work but I know you can pull it off. Actually, this idea reminds me of the Decline of Western Civilization movies where they took a look at the punk and metal scenes during a different decade with each part (you need to watch those movies too, they are great).
Last but not least, here are mine/Kaiser's TOP 5 HANDHELD GAMES... WHISK!
5. Wario Land 3 (GBC)- A really strong platformer with a lot of exploration which is unusual for a game like this. It's kinda like a 2D version of Super Mario 64 but much more fleshed out and clever.
4. Pokémon Puzzle League (GBC)- It's just a Pokémon themed Tetris Attack but with a Pokémon twist. This combination works better than expected and really damn fun. This game is better than any of the mainstream Pokémon games (not to take credit from the mainstream Pokémon games, they are also great).
3. Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap (GBA) 2. Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX(GBC)- Both these Zelda games have got to be the greatest Zelda games of all time and are way better than any of the console ones (not by far though). They have great stories, characters, and gameplay elements that get me MERSED into the Zelda Universes, a thing that many of the console Zelda games fail to do.
1. Wario Land 2 (GBC)- While much more straightforward than Wario Land 3, this game has a charming story, great characters, and very awesome levels that have a lot of exploration. While a lot of that exploration leads to secret coin rooms, some lead to secret exits making the exploration all worth while, even for those coin rooms. This game has Got Tier game and level design.
That's my top 5 with small descriptions (so small that they make my choices seem justiceless) and keep up the good work, stay awesome, and blarg do de blargh.
Balzak!!! Its good to hear him. He has been around in our little community for a long ass time. The Monster Cast was great, one of my earliest memories from you man. Play Skulltag or Age Of Chivalry or something, good times.
I don't think I have listen to many G&DB's podcast, I really should before they decide to erase their internet legacy. They did in a way bring our little community together. I still wish Jerry and Shintai could hang more too.
Also epic homemade meme joke ending! Top Kek!
Question of the week: What is your favorite videogaming moment of the "group" in the years that we have known each other?
